Nestled within Glen Cloy, multi-award-winning Auchrannie Resort is set amid an area of impossible natural beauty and lies at the heart of Arran – just a short journey from where the ferry from the mainland comes in.

Auchrannie offers two distinct four-star hotels: House Hotel is a haven of romance and tranquillity, ideal for couples seeking a more intimate and serene experience; while the Spa Resort provides a contemporary atmosphere popular with families and those looking for more modern touches.

Beyond the hotels, the resort features 30 five-star self-catering lodges, plus 14 luxury retreats, and the accommodation is complemented by two outstanding restaurants, three vibrant bars, two swimming pools, a destination spa, and an outdoor adventure centre. Whether you seek relaxation or exhilaration, Auchrannie has something special to suit.

The winner of our competition will win a two-night stay in the hotel of their choice, plus dinner in the Brambles Seafood & Grill on one of the evenings, and breakfast each morning.

Arran, often referred to as ‘Scotland in Miniature,’ offers a variety of landscapes. From the rugged hills and mountains in the north to the sweeping moorlands in the south, it’s a mosaic of natural wonders. A short 55-minute ferry journey from the Ayrshire coast makes Arran easily accessible, whether you’re arriving from Scotland’s main airports or travelling by road.

Visitors to the isle are often drawn by its tranquil ambience and the opportunities it offers to explore the great outdoors, with its woodland walks, coastal paths, glens, and mountains, all teeming with wildlife as diverse as red deer, golden eagles, red squirrels – basking sharks can also sometimes be seen in its seas.

In addition, there are seven golf courses scattered around the coast, each offering stunning views and a unique playing experience, and no trip to Arran would be complete without indulging in some of the island’s local produce.

Savour the exquisite flavours of the island’s speciality cheeses and chocolates, tour its two whisky distilleries, and pamper yourself with the world-renowned ‘Arran Sense of Scotland’ luxury toiletries.
